Barr’s got it – the missing puzzle piece!
After years of nothing, AG William Barr is investigating the investigators.
He sent his “bulldog,” Durham out to get evidence on just what was going on in the 2016 Election. Mueller tried to take Trump down, but nobody was looking at Obama’s DOJ—and the other side.
Mueller’s report was missing key evidence. What happened to the guy who started the entire Russian investigation?
Rep. Jim Jordan highlighted this in front of the nation, sparking off a demand from lawmakers.
Now, it seems like Barr may have found his answer.
From Washington Examiner:
U.S. Attorney John Durham and Sen. Lindsey Graham, leading separate inquiries into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation, have obtained an audio deposition of Joseph Mifsud, the mysterious Maltese academic who claimed Russia had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton.
Mifsud is an operative who seems to be connected with the left’s attempts at slandering Trump.
According to reports, he is the one who met with Papadopoulos and claimed Russians had dirt on Hillary.
It seems Mifsud was trying to trap Papadopoulos and get the Trump team to actually collude with Russia.
This was a trap, of course. Soon after their meeting, Obama’s DOJ apparently used Mifsud’s action started an investigation into Trump.
Only a fool can’t see what was going on. The Clinton-paid dossier was being crafted to damage Trump. People like Mifsud were trying to give the DOJ an excuse to investigate Trump on their end.
The result would have been a phony sting to frame Trump as a Russian colluder—destroying his chances at winning the election.
Mifsud is the key to this. What did he say to Papadopoulos? And what did he really know about Russia?
Durham’s team has uncovered an audiotape of Mifsud’s deposition. It probably discloses his work, why he targeted Papadopoulos, and who directed him to do it.
It’s possible Mifsud helped set events into motion that created the entire “Russian collusion” narrative. Even after the left failed to destroy Trump, it looks like kept pushing it after he was elected.
And they even tried to use it to impeach him.
They clearly failed. But we still need answers. What does Mifsud know? What is on that tape?
In any event, it looks like Durham found what Barr was looking for. Are heads about to roll? We’ll have to wait and see.
